Our Bold Beginnings
Skin renewal has been at the heart of NEOSTRATA® since 1974 when our founders first discovered the multiple effects of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) & Polyhydroxy Acids (PHAs) on patients with Ichthyosis (dry, thickened, scaly skin.) These dermatologists unlocked another realization: these skin-renewing acids also had beneficial effects on prematurely aged skin. A new era in skincare was born.
Our Breakthrough Technologies
Our scientists were the first to discover the use of Glycolic Acid on skin (now patented and sold in skincare worldwide) and developed breakthrough technologies such as NeoGlucosamine for gentle exfoliation and accelerating skin turnover, Aminofil for visible volume building, and MicroDiPeptide²²⁹ for lifting and firming. Today, NEOSTRATA® continues to advance the field of skin renewal with 100+ publications and patents supporting our science.
